The Daily Dig:
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has announced the completion of its Next NGA West campus in St. Louis. The project was delivered under a design build contract, executed by a joint venture of McCarthy Building Companies and HITT Contracting and managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, with oversight by NGA and the U.S. Air Force.
According to NGA and McCarthy, the 97-acre campus includes a roughly 700,000 square foot main operations facility, parking structures, and secured support buildings. The new headquarters replaces NGA's former St. Louis facility and is intended to support the agency's long term mission and workforce needs.

TheJobWalk Thoughts:
This project is what federal work really looks like when the stakes are high. USACE manages, the owner and Air Force watch closely, and a JV runs the field. Getting it done comes down to keeping everyone aligned, tracking every detail, and sticking to the plan, not racing to the finish line. Teams that can deliver work like this build a reputation that opens doors for years to come.
