Accenture has acquired Avicado, a construction technology consultancy headquartered in Miami. Its team of more than 190 professionals will join Accenture Construct in the United States, and financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Per the Oct. 20 announcement, the deal is meant to help owners of complex infrastructure and capital programs reduce manual handoffs. The other aim is a more connected view that drives higher project performance.
Software Whisperers:
Founded in 2015, Avicado specializes in implementing and integrating leading construction and project management software from:
Procore
Autodesk (Construction Cloud, BIM 360)
Trimble (Trimble Unity construct/e-builder)
Oracle (Primavera P6, Textura)
Kahua
If your project platforms aren’t on speaking terms, these are the folks who get them talking.
More Than Screen Time: Avicado’s work goes beyond software. Its specialists serve as owner representatives, support site selection and feasibility, manage procurement services, and provide controls, schedule and document management.
The firm serves large project owners in:
Data centers, transportation, and government and public infrastructure
Commercial real estate, education and healthcare
Manufacturing, power and energy, and water and wastewater
Platforms Meet People: That blend of systems work and field support fits what Accenture Construct CEO Adam J. Shaw says owners need: proven industry platforms, people and process, and AI. He called the deal “our next move” toward delivering all of it and taking greater accountability for client outcomes.
Avicado founder and CEO Avidahn Levin said the move gives existing clients access to Accenture’s global capabilities, industry knowledge and technology.
Small Crew, Big Trailer: Avicado’s team will be joining a company of approximately 814,000 people that generated roughly $74 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue.
For owners, Shaw’s accountability pledge is the part worth watching.
