C1S Group just landed a design-build contract to turn an existing facility into a cleanroom for an unnamed defense technology company.
The Dallas based firm will build a 5,000 square foot ISO 5 (Class 100) cleanroom, backed by an ISO 8 utility chase, dedicated mechanical spaces, and support areas built for long-term flexibility. Running two different cleanliness standards under one roof adds a layer of complexity a standard industrial buildout never has to touch.
The scope covers the full contamination control playbook:
Raised access floor system with modular cleanroom wall components
HVAC with HEPA filtration and room-side replaceable fan filter units
Specialty gases, nitrogen, vacuum, chilled water, and process cooling
Upgraded electrical, controls, fire protection, and life-safety systems
Dedicated chemical storage and specialized exhaust systems
