Flintco has been selected to construct Sodern America's new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Englewood, Colorado. Sodern America was established in January 2026 as a subsidiary of ArianeGroup and is recognized as a leader in star trackers and space cameras. They have more than 2,000 star trackers currently in orbit, installed on over 1,000 satellites, and a stated 100% mission success rate serving customers including NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Blue Origin.
The 14,000 square foot facility will include a specialized cleanroom for the assembly, integration, and testing of the Auriga star tracker. Plus, a compact, high-performance navigation instrument used across commercial, civil, and national security space missions. The facility will also support testing of the Hydra star tracker, designed for high-performance satellites, along with a showroom and demonstration space for customer engagement.
