The Daily Dig
A joint venture of Turner Construction and FH Construction Group will build AdventHealth’s new hospital in Louisville, Colorado. The Turner-FH JV is delivering a five-story facility spanning 373,000 square feet, with a reported value of $475 million. AdventHealth broke ground on October 14, 2026.
Ground Rules
The hospital will sit on 40 acres in the Redtail Ridge development, near U.S. 36 and Northwest Parkway.
Turner expects to finish construction in early 2029, and AdventHealth plans to open the doors in the first quarter of that year.
The JV pairs a New York City builder with FH Construction Group, a firm headquartered in Denver. AdventHealth also lists ADAMS, SmithGroup, WSP and Kimley-Horn as partners on the campus.
“We are honored to support AdventHealth’s mission to provide life-saving care through the construction of this state-of-the-art hospital,” said Scott Bustos, Vice President, Turner.
Bed Check
The hospital is planned for up to 150 beds, with room to expand as community needs change.
AdventHealth says the new location will shorten the drive to emergency care for more than 400,000 people.
The design also draws on lessons from the Marshall Fire, with improved campus access and multiple points of entry for safety.
AdventHealth Louisville will build on the legacy of AdventHealth Avista. Outpatient services are expected to remain on the Avista campus in the near term while AdventHealth assesses the site’s future use.

TheJobWalk Thoughts
AdventHealth is planning this hospital with room to grow. Hospitals designed for expansion usually size their central plant and infrastructure for future capacity from day one. That means bigger MEP systems now and possible future work later.
The 2029 opening also puts long lead gear like switchgear, generators and air handlers on the near horizon. Trades chasing this job should get in front of the Turner-FH team before packages lock.
Then there’s Avista. AdventHealth is still assessing that campus’s future beyond outpatient care. If it moves toward renovation or repurposing, local trades will want to be first in line.
