TheJobWalk Thoughts:
Data centers used to spend two years waiting on utility hookups. Now they're building next to the plant and calling it strategy. It works, shorter schedules, no interconnection lottery, and the power's sitting right there. For contractors, this is the tell. These announcements drop six to nine months before anyone breaks ground, and they're usually your only heads up before the owner's team starts making calls. The guys tracking power deals in Texas aren't being thorough, they're being early. And in a market this tight, early's the only edge that matters.
