Five separate construction companies announced acquisitions over two days, starting August 31 and closing out September 1. The deals span everything from asbestos abatement to asphalt hauling.

Tampa Gets Absorbed
EIS Holdings added Environmental Construction, LLC (ECI), a Tampa demolition, abatement, and mold remediation firm founded in 2005 and licensed in Florida and Georgia. EIS now runs 35 offices across 39 states with over 1,000 employees. ECI's leadership team, Michael Graisbery, Cameron Graisbery, and Logio Pizano, stays on.
Ace Gets a New Boss
White Cap bought the business of Ace Contractors Supply, an Austin distributor of concrete accessories, rebar, and safety gear. White Cap now runs roughly 575 branches and 12,000 employees serving about 200,000 customers across North America.
Modular Money
Everus Construction Group (NYSE: ECG) closed its $295 million cash purchase of Epsilon Industries, a modular mechanical and electrical building infrastructure manufacturer with plants in the U.S. and Canada. The move is meant to grow Everus's footprint in data centers, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare. Epsilon President Chris Wiederick stays on to run it.
Wisconsin's MEP Marriage
Limbach Holdings (Nasdaq: LMB) picked up 1901 Inc., a Madison union MEP contractor, for $63 million plus up to $6 million in earn-outs. Both companies were founded in 1901, a coincidence Limbach's CEO made sure to point out. The deal adds roughly 450 employees and is projected to add $140 million in 2027 revenue and $11 million in adjusted EBITDA.
Oklahoma Fills the Tank
Construction Partners (NASDAQ: ROAD) acquired Asphalt Express Enterprises, an Ardmore, Oklahoma liquid asphalt hauler, along with its rail served site, which CPI plans to turn into a future terminal.
