Z Squared Inc. (Nasdaq: ZSQR) announced Oct. 30 that it has begun site planning and preliminary engineering for its Union County Campus in El Dorado, Arkansas. The company also engaged A2 Advisors, and its plan targets up to approximately 150 MW of AI-ready capacity over time.

Juice in the Wires

Z Squared acquired the campus by purchasing Paradox Data, LLC, a deal that closed September 8, 2026. The site is energized today, with approximately 8 MW of utility power currently available.

“Power is the hardest thing to secure in AI infrastructure, and our Union County campus already has it,” said CEO David Halabu.

That 8 MW is roughly 5% of the target, and reaching the rest depends on additional power arrangements.

Built to Spec

The site plan will offer development options covering layout, power and cooling, building footprints, and phasing. Z Squared says it is designing them around technical requirements it obtained from multiple prospective tenants.

A2 Advisors will advise on site development, project delivery, vendor and partner alignment, and customer leasing strategy.

From 8 to 150

Capacity above 8 MW is a development target, and the company says it is not currently contracted, energized, or delivered. Reaching it depends on:

  • Additional power arrangements

  • Tenant commitments

  • Financing

  • Permitting and construction

Halabu framed the next step himself: “Our job now is to turn that power into capacity for tenants.” As of the release, no definitive lease or tenant commitment was in place, so the plan has tenant specs but still needs tenant signatures.

Just a quick one..
