Giants Tap Original Builder Natoli Construction for Facility Expansion

The New York Giants have announced a major expansion and renovation of their team headquarters at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, N.J. The project centers on a new football operations facility built to support player performance, preparation, and recovery, and it follows a cafeteria renovation and expansion the team completed this spring.

The Giants have hired EwingCole and Natoli Construction Corp. to design and build the expansion. The scope includes roughly 93,500 square feet of new construction along with 46,000 square feet of renovations to the existing facility.

Natoli is a familiar name on this campus. The Pine Brook, N.J.-based contractor originally built the complex, including the 104,000-square-foot headquarters and training facility, a 98,000-square-foot indoor practice facility, four outdoor practice fields, and a maintenance building. The Giants moved into the facility, then known as the Timex Performance Center, in 2010.

EwingCole brings its own sports construction background to the project. The Philadelphia-based architect designed the Athletics' temporary 16,000-square-foot clubhouse at Sutter Health Park in 2025, and previously provided designs for the Baltimore Ravens' Under Armour Performance Center in 2018.

The locker room will grow to more than 6,000 square feet and hold 100 full-size lockers. The weight room will exceed 11,000 square feet and add a nutrition bar and a cardio mezzanine overlooking the indoor field. Sports medicine and rehabilitation space will triple in size.

The project also adds a full slate of recovery amenities, including hydrotherapy, steam, sauna, red light therapy, cryotherapy, dry float tanks, and hyperbaric chambers. Player and team areas will be modernized to support preparation throughout the week.

The Quest Diagnostics Training Center will continue serving as the hub of the Giants' business and football operations throughout the renovation and expansion. The contract amount has not been disclosed, and the project is targeted for completion ahead of the 2028 season.
