Gradiant announced on September 2, 2026 that they've secured a contract to deliver a full turnkey water and wastewater package for a hyperscale data center campus in West Texas. The client is one of the world's largest hyperscalers. Gradiant will handle potable water supply and wastewater treatment as a single accountable partner.
It's the latest in a run of data center wins for Gradiant this year. The contract plugs into HyperSolved, their integrated cooling water platform for AI data centers. That platform combines treatment technology, CURE Chemicals, and SmartOps.
West Texas has limited water to spare to begin with. That's the whole point. As CEO Prakash Govindan put it, "Water-scarce regions are where the next wave of hyperscale growth is happening, and most operators don't have a way to get there. We're giving them one."
Zero Discharge, Zero Room for Error
The system is engineered for zero discharge to surface water. According to Nish Vora, Gradiant's Managing Director for the Americas, it's coming together on "one of the tightest schedules and toughest water constraints we've seen." Vora described the construction schedule as leaving no room for delay. No exact dates, capacity, or contract value were disclosed.
The project ties into a broader, publicly reported multi-billion-dollar investment reshaping the region. Gradiant's release doesn't attach a specific dollar figure to their own scope of work.
