Manhattan Construction Company has promoted Greg Davis to regional leader and vice president for its Washington, D.C. area operations. Pete Togni moves up to operations manager, the company announced Oct. 28.
Both men were project directors before the promotions. The company framed the appointments around leadership continuity, project delivery and client service across the region.
Davis Takes the Wheel: Davis has spent 23 years at Manhattan. He’ll lead the region’s operations, overseeing preconstruction and client relations while advancing strategic growth, operational excellence and talent development.
His portfolio leans heavily on university and public clients:
Universities: Catholic University, Georgetown University, George Mason University and The George Washington University
Public sector: Fairfax County and the Defense Intelligence Agency
Corporate: Lincoln Properties and United Airlines
He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science/Engineering from West Virginia University.
Boots and Budgets: Togni will guide project management teams and field operations. His oversight covers project supervision, staffing, budget control, schedules, safety and quality.
He brings more than 30 years of experience across multifamily residential, commercial and government projects, including:
Verizon Ashburn Campus
Defense Intelligence Analysis Center Addition at Bolling Air Force Base
George Mason University Van Metre Hall
He holds a B.S. in Building Construction from Virginia Tech.
Common Ground: The two résumés share some territory. Both include George Mason University, and both include defense intelligence work.
Togni also knows the company from the inside. He worked at Manhattan from 1998 to 2008 and rejoined in 2026.
President John Reyhan said the pair bring “the experience and market knowledge” to sustain the firm’s D.C. foundation while advancing project delivery and client service.
Togni’s second stint at Manhattan started this year and already comes with a promotion. That’s about as good as a welcome back gets.
