The Daily Dig
Miami Valley Christian Academy, one of the largest private schools in the Cincinnati area, is moving forward with a new $21.2 million standalone high school building in Anderson Township. The school has filed paperwork with the Hamilton County Recorder's Office covering plans for an 82,500 square foot building on a 31.8-acre parcel.
The site is about seven minutes from the academy's current Cincinnati campus, which serves more than 1,150 students from preschool through 12th grade. The new building is designed for 500 high school students and will include 27 classrooms, science and chemistry labs, arts and music spaces, a chapel, gym facilities, and an athletic field.

TheJobWalk Thoughts
The future phase list is doing a lot of work here. A field house, stadium seating, a theater, and expanded fine arts space tells you this is a long-range build-out with more bid packages coming. For subs and suppliers in Cincinnati, the academic building and gym are your entry point, not your only shot. Win the relationship now and you're in a better position when the athletic and performance facility work moves to procurement. GCs should also note that a 31.8-acre site with a phased program this size will carry serious civil and sitework scope down the road. Worth tracking the owner and design team now.
