Swinerton Builders, the 100% employee-owned general contractor founded in 1888, has selected Bridgit’s AI workforce planning platform. Bridgit announced the deal on November 2, saying it will help Swinerton plan for its people, projects and future opportunities.

Swinerton will use Bridgit to bring its workforce information into one place. That includes real-time visibility into projects and pipeline, along with the experience, skills and qualifications across its teams.

Spokane to Maui, One Shared View: Swinerton runs 24 offices nationwide, from Spokane and Seattle to Summit, New Jersey, and New York, plus Honolulu and Maui. According to the release, workforce decisions at that scale rarely sit in one office or department.

Per Bridgit, the platform will:

  • Connect with the tools Swinerton already uses

  • Use AI features and agents to help teams share resources and expertise across offices and regions

  • Give operations, HR, preconstruction and business development a shared view of capacity

  • Help leaders forecast further ahead, evaluate staffing scenarios and factor workforce into project and financial decisions

Beyond Who’s Available

Bridgit tracks details including sectors, project types, certifications, client relationships and locations. That lets Swinerton weigh who fits a job best, not just who happens to be open.

Kim DeYoung, Swinerton’s VP of Business Technology, said one of tech’s most important roles at the company is “helping our teams make better, more informed decisions.”

Bridgit’s Pitch: CEO Mallorie Brodie said the decision shows the value of strategic workforce planning for large contractors that need visibility across the whole company. Bridgit says it’s trusted by 40% of top contractors and counts Autodesk, Salesforce Ventures and Sands Capital among its investors.

Talent Without Borders: With 24 offices, the right person for a job might sit in a different region entirely. Swinerton is investing in a tool built to help find them.

Just a quick one..
