Caterpillar Celebrates 100 Years

Caterpillar
Caterpillar is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2025, they started in 1925 when Benjamin Holt and C.L. Best joined their businesses. They made machines that helped build roads, farms, and cities.
To mark this big milestone, Caterpillar is hosting events around the world. They call it the Centennial World Tour. At each stop, they are giving money to local charities to help communities grow. They also pledged $100 million over five years to train workers for future jobs.
Caterpillar is also showing off special machines painted in "Centennial Grey." These are limited-edition models available only in 2025. Looking back, Caterpillar's machines have helped build important places like the Hoover Dam and even assisted in the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
As they look to the future, Caterpillar is focusing on new technologies like electric machines and tools that help reduce pollution.
