$659 Million Switch Data Center Financing
Switch has announced the closing of its fourth asset-backed securities (ABS) offering, raising approximately $659 million to fund continued data center development across the US.
The proceeds from this financing will support new development across Switch’s five campuses serving hyperscale, AI, and enterprise customers.
Switch’s platform spans 10 data centers across 4 US campuses, serves nearly 500 customers, and generates over 70% of revenue from investment-grade tenants.

$16 Billion “Project Horizon” Data Center, Texas

CoreWeave and AI startup Poolside are teaming up to build a massive 2GW data center campus in West Texas. The site will span 568 acres and will be built in eight phases, each adding 250 megawatts of capacity.
CoreWeave will anchor the first phase with a 15-year lease for 250 MW, while Poolside develops the rest of the campus. The site will draw on local natural gas power and use modular builds to speed up construction.
The project was announced just 5 days ago, with work already underway. The first phase is set to go live in early 2027.

The development spans 672 acres, with 500 acres allocated for facilities and the remaining area preserved and restored for environmental benefit. The project is expected to generate more than 4,000 union construction jobs and over 1,000 permanent positions once operational. This $15+ billion investment is among the largest in Wisconsin’s history.

The 440-acre “Cinco” site will deliver large-scale power and capacity for AI and cloud computing. The first phase is being built for a top US tech company, creating around 600 construction jobs and 40 long-term roles once fully operational. It broke ground in August 2025, the campus is expected to come online by 2027.

Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia
Qiddiya City is a new development being built just outside Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Backed by the Public Investment Fund, it’s designed to be the world’s first city focused entirely on entertainment, sports, and culture.
The project will include a Six Flags theme park, a major water park called Aquarabia, a Formula 1-grade racetrack, a performing arts center, sports arenas, hotels, and entire residential districts. The goal is to make Qiddiya a global destination where people can live, work, and play- all in one place.
The total cost of Qiddiya is expected to exceed $40 billion, with construction set to continue through the decade. When finished, it will cover hundreds of square kilometers and create tens of thousands of jobs, becoming one of the largest mixed-use entertainment projects ever built.

Buildots Acquires Genda
Buildots, a global AI-driven construction management platform, has acquired Genda, a workforce and safety management software company, in an industry-first move to unify jobsite progress tracking with workforce data.
The integration will combine Buildots’ computer vision-based progress monitoring with Genda’s real-time labor, equipment, and material tracking to deliver a comprehensive view of construction site operations.
Genda’s clients include major general contractors such as DPR Construction, Hensel Phelps, Clark Construction, JE Dunn, and ANDRES Construction. The acquisition is expected to enhance planning, productivity analysis, and root-cause delay mitigation across construction projects.
