$3 Billion JPMorgan Chase Global Headquarters Opens

JPMorgan Chase
JPMorgan Chase has completed construction of its new global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
The 60-story, 1,388-foot skyscraper spans 2.5 million square feet and accommodates up to 14,000 employees. The tower is fully electric and designed for net-zero operational emissions, making it one of New York’s most sustainable office buildings.
The project began with the demolition of the previous structure in 2019, followed by construction from 2021 through 2025. Structural topping out occurred in late 2023, and this week officially opened.
The estimated construction cost was around $3 billion, though JPMorgan Chase has not officially confirmed the final figure. The build came together by numerous contractors, with the general contractor being AECOM Tishman, along with architects from Foster + Partners & Adamson Associate Architects.

FENIX Museum of Migration, Netherlands

MAD Architects
Stichting FENIX Museum has just redeveloped the historic Fenix Warehouse in Rotterdam, Netherlands, into the FENIX Museum of Migration, with design led by MAD Architects.
The museum combines adaptive reuse of the original 16,000 m² (172,000 sq ft) 1923 warehouse with a striking new steel “Tornado” structure. The Tornado forms a dramatic helix above the roofline, linking the heritage building with the new volumes and symbolizing the complex journeys of global migration.
Design work began in 2020, and construction just recently finished. The museum reopened its doors in May 2025; the project value and general contractor have not yet been publicly disclosed.
TECH SPOTLIGHT
DOE AI Supercomputing Campus

NVIDIA
NVIDIA and Oracle are partnering with the U.S. Department of Energy to build two massive AI supercomputers at Argonne National Laboratory.
The primary system, Solstice, will use 100,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. A second system, Equinox, will include 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and is set to go live in the first half of 2026.
Together, the systems will deliver up to 2,200 exaflops of AI performance, marking the largest AI supercomputing effort in DOE history.
These systems will support open-science AI research across fields including healthcare, energy, security, and materials science.
