Meta and NVIDIA Partner to Build AI Infrastructure

Courtesy of Meta
Meta and NVIDIA have announced this week a multiyear strategic partnership to build out AI infrastructure across data centers, on-premises systems, and cloud environments. As part of the deal, Meta will deploy millions of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and plans to move to next-generation Rubin GPUs down the road to handle its massive AI training and inference workloads.
Meta is also going big on NVIDIA Grace CPUs, which marks a potential for one of the largest Arm-based CPU deployments in hyperscale infrastructure to date. The two companies will work together on future Vera CPUs as part of a longer-term hardware roadmap. NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking will also be folded in to boost performance and efficiency across Meta's AI systems.
Altogether, the partnership gives Meta's engineers and researchers access to the full NVIDIA stack- CPUs, GPUs, networking and software. Meta will additionally roll out NVIDIA Confidential Computing to help lock down sensitive data across its infrastructure.
