The Daily Dig
Vector Building Products has acquired Prestige Distribution, a Division 10 and commercial specialty products distributor based in Northbrook, Illinois. Prestige has additional operations in Dallas, Texas. The company has been in business since 2004 and provides design, distribution, project management, and installation services to customers across the United States.
The deal extends Vector's geographic reach and adds to its product offering as it continues building out a national Division 10 platform. As part of the transaction, Adi Klinghofer, Co-Owner of Prestige, will become Chief Operating Officer of Vector Building Products.
Vector CEO John Krawczyk said the acquisition brings in a respected operator with a strong track record of growth and operational excellence. He said Vector plans to support Prestige's next phase of growth while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that has driven its success. Prestige Founder and Co-Owner David Waxman said joining Vector brings added resources and vision that will help the business expand its capabilities while continuing to focus on customer service.
Vector was established in 2025 by private investment firm Centre Lane Partners. The company launched its platform through an initial partnership with Spectrum Resource, and continues to grow by partnering with leading Division 10 distributors across North America.

TheJobWalk Thoughts
This is Vector's second disclosed platform partnership since forming in 2025, a pace that points to active, ongoing buying rather than a single opportunistic deal. Distributors and suppliers in Division 10 should read this as a market where consolidation is actively in motion, not a one-time event.
The release gives no integration timeline or detail on how sales coverage will change. Subs, suppliers, and sales teams working with Prestige should treat that silence as a reason to check in directly rather than assume nothing shifts.
For independent Division 10 distributors, deals like this raise the practical question of where you fit if a platform buyer comes calling next.
