Vortex Companies is expanding into New England. The Houston-based provider of trenchless water and sewer rehabilitation announced Sept. 15 that it's acquiring CLH & Son, Inc., an Auburn, Maine contractor specializing in sliplining, concrete rehabilitation, excavation and drainage improvements.
CLH has served municipalities, state DOTs, utilities and contractors across New England since 1979, tackling aging storm and sewer systems. Now it's joining Vortex Services Northeast.
